After a long time again...... I know people, you all miss me a lot but these schedules, my chit chatting, laziness are all the useless reasons that I get such less time to interact over here.
This time I’m not going to blabber much about myself.. Promise :D This time I will be sharing something… There was an essay writing competition at my office in my IDU, you can say in my department where 1000+ employees work. And Appu Won the First Prize. J J And all the credit goes to my Sangoram Sir, I used to love to learn this language from him. And next credit to My School – Sacred Heart Convent. I always proudly say that I’m a Convent student and today I have proved it again…

The topics were – “This is what I call Patriotism” and “This is what I call Creativity”. I choose the later one.

“This is what I call Creativity”
Have you ever tried reading the Page2 of Times, the front page left corner of Express, the last but one page of Mirror; don’t you find a perfect example of what people call as creativity. Yes, I am talking about those picture perfect cartoons with those funny notations describing the current issues, scenarios, politics, corruption, etc. The comical face of Mr. Manmohan Singh with Soniya Gandhi in some hilarious action and a joke below, the colorful Disney creatures with some scenes picturing a humorous tale, the witty teaching depicted trough sketches, the catchy movie adds provoking us to reach the theaters. Behind all these are some great creative heads, having so much of creation in their spine that they are ready with a funny drawing on every current topic. Advertisements are another model to prove how creative minds work. The Vodafone Zoo-Zoo, the fevicol eggs would never be forgotten.
Einstein’s equation, Newton’s law, Pranav Misra’s Six Sense technology, Apple’s 4G, no you cannot add all these to the list of creativity. These are great inventions. Creativity and innovation are two separate topics. People assume that when they explore their creativity, they will come up with something that no one has ever thought of or invented. However, that’s not correct; creativity is when a little kid finds out a way to the sugar box high on the shelf or climbs up the stairs for the first time. You would say that happens with all tiny tots; correct, however it’s their beautiful creativity, their amazing experience.
Should we call our engineers, architects, interior decorators “creative genius”? Every house is built with different projections, some new colour scheme, the lamps, the furniture, the landscaping. So are these people having creative master minds, probably yes to some extent? But don’t you think it’s their job, their learning, their studies. Have you ever witnessed some small mum God’s creature attending any classes to learn how to build a house? The answer is a big no. But I have surely witnessed their vision, creativity.

Sometime in my childhood, I had to construct a bird nest as a part of vacation homework. One day while I was pondering on how I should create a nest, I saw two birds outside the window of my house. To my surprise they were trying to build a nest. I started observing them; they were working around 8 to 10 hours a day and would take a day off in almost a week. The bird’s, daily brought mud with their beak and started preparing a circle of that mud with the help of saliva. After the circle was completed, the back and front walls were made and a small open space like a door entry was kept in the front wall. With all the hard work and so much of dedication the nest was built in around one month and that was well before the rains could start. I was really shocked to see how such small living thing can do such a top of the engineering work in building this nest. Skill and proficiency of these birds is a perfect paradigm of creativeness.
Art is apparent to creativeness. The musicians, the singers, they are always ready with some new tune, some new music. The voice, the words depicts every emotion and has the power to generate fire in our belly. The B-town artists having so much of influence to ignite the mob, their sparking persona, those ever ready expressions, they sway the audience to cry with them. People who have committed their thoughts to writing with some unique style, having aptitude that’s incomparable, their pen forces you to laugh, to cry, to smile, you can call them a terrific scribe. The painters, artists, who can paint every passion, thoughts, vision, ask them to draw a dream and the picture would represent a complete story. This is what we call as artistic quality, the originality. People who possess a creative talent can make you feel every emotion with their creativity.
A chef is someone who has promised his life to kitchen, I find the best level of creativity in them. Their brain always runs behind their customers smile and how do they get it, that’s where the creativity comes. A chef would always think of some new dish. He would keep making changes in the original recipe to make it taste better. The beautiful salad decorations, making a duck out of a cucumber needs a vision. And everything with the perfect presentation is important for them to get a 10 on 10. Try cooking with that big white cap, big knifes, time constraint, perfect arrangement, new innovations every time and serve with a smile. That would make you understand why I have made Chefs, the master of all creative heads.
Writing such big paragraphs on a topic called creativity, don’t you think itself is a creativity.
A brain that keeps running every minute,
Giving birth to new horizons,
Promising to add life to mortals,
The art that speak its story,
Depicting emotions with words unsaid,
…This is what I call creativity.

PS. We also took part in Lantern Making and Diya Painting. We did not get the prize since the judge thought that using the outside material was not allowed, which was incorrect. However, a lot many people told that we deserved the prize and they were shocked to see that we lost. So I’m Happy Happy to Win with the audience poll......... (Don't have pics to share :().......
PSS. At last, I have put on some weight and people recognized it. Shubhangi started calling me Moti (fatty), so glad to hear it. Love you shubhu for that…
